• End Racial Hatred in America It is critical to realize that the N-word is not only offensive to the African American community but to our society as a whole, as it demonstrates a lack of understanding and tolerance for others. Sign the petition now »
• African American Voter Turnout Essential to Election Outcome We can collectively protect ourselves by voting for candidates that respect and want us by voting for issues that are essential to the health and welfare of the African American community.
• Hate Crimes Prevention Act The Hate Crimes Prevention Act would make it easier for the federal government to get involved in investigating, prosecuting, and preventing hate crimes across the country, and would expand the definition of hate crime as one that is perpetrated against a person because of the victim's gender, disability, or sexual orientation.
• Patients' Bill of Rights The NAACP continues to fight to see that a genuine "Patients Bill of Rights" is presented to the President and signed into law.
• Driving While Black It is difficult for our faith in the American judicial system not to be challenged when we cannot even drive down an interstate without being stopped merely because of the color of our skin.
